This year, there has been this fuss on the Internet to bring back one of my favorite cereals from the 1990s, French Toast Crunch. The Internet has gotten its wish and French Toast Crunch cereal made its return to supermarket shelves. I was fortunate enough to snag a box of this cereal. Of course, being the Meatloaf Princess, I wanted to put said cereal into a meatloaf. Thus French Toast Crunch Meatloaf was born.
You will need:
1/2 onion, sauteed in olive oil
2 eggs(I didn't beat them this time)
1 cup of French Toast Crunch cereal
1/4 cup of ketchup
Approximately 1 tablespoon of maple syrup(you can add more or less, depending on your mood for sweet things)
About 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 pound of extra firm tofu, chopped
Nonstick cooking spray
1. Wash your hands.
2. Put first 8 ingredients in large bowl.
3. Mix up the ingredients.
4. Spray nonstick cooking spray on lasagna pan.
5. Form two loaves from the mixture using hands
6. Bake in oven for 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
7. Bon Appetit!
